Project Server
Microsoft Office Project Server, or EPM, is not software that can be installed, turned on, and deployed to project teams. It requires a purposeful approach based on real requirements that lead an implementation from install to training. Our EPM consulting philosophy is based on the belief that a thorough understanding of your business issues will lead to the most appropriate solution and approach. Reaching your EPM goals is primarily a function of a carefully phased deployment. This includes prototyping and piloting the solution and getting the users engaged early on.
Once you are ready to deploy Project Server we provide two options; Accelerated Deployment or Enterprise Deployment. Both options provide you with a customized fit. The option you select is primarily driven by the size of your deployment. During the deployment we will provide guidance & recommendations based on our extensive experience. Our objective is to enable you to gain maximum value from Project Server as quickly as possible. The deployment will be customized to resolve your issues or business pain points in priority order, enabling rapid benefits realization.
We define a deployment roadmap and might recommend a two stage deployment, given the breadth of functionality available with Project Server 2010. For example, you might wish to focus on reducing the current reporting burden and establishing dashboards as initial benefits & then once this is achieved roll out Time Recording as Step 2. This we find helps gain user buy in.
